Mr. A.S.M. Shahidullah Khan

The Board of Directors of ONE Bank PLC has been re-elected Mr. A.S.M. Shahidullah Khan as Chairman.

Mr. A.S.M. Shahidullah Khan is a son of eminent Late Justice and Ex-Speaker Abdul Jabbar Khan. He was a brilliant student and at all levels of his academic life, he secured 1st division/class.

He has graduated from the University of Dhaka with a brilliant academic track record. He stood 1st in the combined merit list in SSC examination under the Dhaka Board and obtained 1st class in Physics (Hons) from Dhaka University. He was a valiant freedom fighter. He actively participated in the liberation war of Bangladesh under sector-2.

Mr. Shahidullah Khan is the Managing Director of Media New Age Ltd and the publisher of the Daily New Age. He is a Director of Holiday Publication Limited.

Mr. Khan has been involved in extra-curricular, socio-cultural and voluntary activities since his student life. He was adjudged among other things as the All Pakistan best Scout in 1965, All Pakistan Debate Champion in 1967. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Bangladesh Protibondhi Foundation (an organization for Disabled Children).

Mr. Zahur Ullah, Director of ONE Bank PLC has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Executive Committee. He is a prominent business person in the country. He graduated in Finance from University of Dhaka. He is involved in the buying, manufacturing, and exporting of readymade garments and allied products. Mr. Zahur Ullah is the Chairman of LL Group and also the Managing Director of GTEX Ltd. He is one of the Directors of Holiday Publications Ltd.

Ms. Anannya Das Gupta

Ms. Anannya Das Gupta is a Director of ONE Bank PLC. She is the daughter of (Late) Mr. Asoke Das Gupta, former Vice Chairman of ONE Bank PLC.

She received her MBA in Marketing and Post-Graduation in Management Studies from the University of Leicester (UK). She has led several Sales and Marketing functions at Uniroyal Trade and Imtrex, and has been a personal investor for over twenty years. Her extra-curricular activities include art & culture, interior design, reading and travel.

Admiral AMM Mohammad Aurangzeb Chowdhury (Retd)

Independent Director

Admiral AMM Mohammad Aurangzeb Chowdhury (Retd), NBP, OSP, BCGM, PCGM, BCGMS, ndc, psc, Former Chief of Naval Staff & DG Coast Guard becomes an Independent Director of ONE Bank PLC in its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 24, 2021. On the same day, he was elected Chairman of the Audit & the Risk Management Committees in the Bank’s 329th Board Meeting. Mr. Chowdhury has a brilliant  academic track record to his credit. He has obtained  MDS,  MBA,  MPhil,  PhD degrees as well as has undergone a good number of trainings at home & abroad. He has achieved numerous medals and awards during his career in Bangladesh Navy such as NBP, OSP, National Integrity Strategy award 2018, President Coast Guard Medal, Bangladesh Coast Guard (service) along with many local & foreign trophies and awards.

Mr. Md. Azizul Haque

Independent Director

Mr. Md. Azizul Haque is an Independent Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of ONE Bank PLC.

Earlier, he served Bangladesh Bank for more than 30 years. He last worked at Bangladesh Bank as an Executive Director. He held many responsible positions in different departments at the  Central  Bank  including  Foreign  Exchange  Investment  Department, Banking Inspection Department, Department of Financial Institution and Markets, Anti Money Laundering Department, Department of Off-Site Supervision, Problem Bank Monitoring Department, Department of Banking Inspection and Administrative Department of Bangladesh Bank.

He has obtained his Honours and Master’s degrees in Marketing from Dhaka University. He attended a good number of training programs and workshops at home and abroad.
