| ONE Bank PLC organized a day long "BAMLCO Conference 2023" on 08 December, 2023. The main objectives of the Conference were to create awareness among the participants about Anti Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing and to make the participants more conscious and motivated to do their task meticulously following laws and regulations for effective control of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. Mr. Md. Masud Biswas, Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) formally inaugurated the Conference as Chief Guest. He also delivered valuable speech, directions and guidelines regarding AML & CFT. Mr. Monzur Mofiz, Managing Director, ONE Bank PLC extended his warm welcome to the Chief Guest and the participants. Mr. Monzurul Alam Chowdhury, ADMD & CAMLCO presided over the conference. Mr. Abu Zafore Md. Saleh, Additional Managing Director and Mr. John Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director also attended the Conference. Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Hossaini, Additional Director and Ms. Juairia Haque, Joint Director, BFIU conducted sessions as Resource Persons. Senior Executives of the Bank and 45 BAMLCOs of Dhaka Zone Branches attended the Conference. BAMLCOS from outside Dhaka also attended the conference online. Finally, the CAMLCO expressed gratitude to Mr. Md. Masud Biswas, Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) and Session Speakers from BFIU and thanks to all concerned for successfully arranging this Conference. |
