He stood 1st in the combined merit list in SSC examination under the Dhaka Board and obtained 1st class in Physics (Hons) from Dhaka University. He was a valiant freedom fighter. He actively participated in the liberation war of Bangladesh under sector-2.
Mr. Shahidullah Khan is the Managing Director of Media New Age Ltd and the publisher of the Daily New Age. He is a Director of Holiday Publication Limited.
Mr. Khan has been involved in extra-curricular, socio-cultural and voluntary activities since his student life. He was adjudged among other things as the All Pakistan best Scout in 1965, All Pakistan Debate Champion in 1967. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Bangladesh Protibondhi Foundation (an organization for Disabled Children). |

On the same day, he was elected Chairman of the Audit & the Risk Management Committees in the Bank’s 329th Board Meeting. Mr. Chowdhury has a brilliant academic track record to his credit. He has obtained MDS, MBA, MPhil, PhD degrees as well as has undergone a good number of trainings at home & abroad. He has achieved numerous medals and awards during his career in Bangladesh Navy such as NBP, OSP, National Integrity Strategy award 2018, President Coast Guard Medal, Bangladesh Coast Guard (service) along with many local & foreign trophies and awards. |

Mr. Md. Monzur Mofiz has taken over the Charge of ONE Bank PLC as Managing Director for a tenure of 3 (three) years with effect from January 16, 2022. He was the Managing Director (Current Charge) of the Bank prior to that.
Before his joining at ONE Bank PLC, he was the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC.
His long 28 years of work stint include the role of an Engineer in the Ministry of Education & Sonali Bank Limited. Later he served as a core Banker at AB Bank Limited, the City Bank Limited and Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited. He participated several training programs and workshops at home and abroad.
He completed his B. Sc in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) and obtained his MBA Degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. |
